Maintenance & Repairs Day

Even though today’s weather forecast tells us that Winter is holding on with an iron fist, we Have faith that Spring is just around that proverbial corner!

The church’s building and grounds have taken quite the beating of this long, harsh Winter. The many activities and events in the building since the Fall have also taken a toll on the church, parish hall and kitchen! It’s time for our annual Spring Maintenance & Repairs Work Days!

Two important clean-up days at the church

Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

GARDENING & other jobs

Cleaning away all reminders of winter and preparing the earth for new growth. The plan is to clean-up the front and side gardens, sweep the stairways and laneway.

There are jobs for all abilities, including those of children, youth and for folks whose joints ache a bit! Come anytime during the morning or until 2 p.m. Bring along gardening gloves or tools that might be helpful.

Donations of bags of mulch, soil and other gardening supplies appreciated.

Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

MAINTENANCE Day

A work day for building repairs and maintenance, e.g. uncovering the air conditioners, door hinges, re-gluing stripping and a host of other maintenance jobs. For information, contact Ewald Stranzl at Maintenance.
